Prayer is Powerful
Prayer is a powerful thing.
Did you know that it does not matter what you call who you are praying to, but praying and believing in answers from a higher source is quite powerful. So, why is it when we are desperate and calling out for help, it seems like we aren’t heard or it seems our prayers are randomly answered? Despite how it seems, nothing is random. All the events are perfectly orchestrated to help us elevate into who our soul is meant to be.
When we are praying for the pain to go away or for someone to change or for a quick resolve to a problem, we are actually doing ourselves a disservice, even if the prayer is answered. How can this be, especially if the money we need shows up, or the person changes, or the obstacle is removed?!
First, let’s look at why we experience obstacles or pain points from another perspective. These are placed by the Creator (God, Allah, Source, Universe, etc.) in our lives to give us an opportunity to expand our vessel to receive more blessings. It isn’t a test, but an opportunity to transform.
So, if it is answered and just given to us the way we desire (which sometimes it is), and we have done nothing to change internally, it will either be taken away or it will surface again in the same way or in a similar form or manner. It will keep coming back until we decide to look at it as an opportunity to grow.
If, instead, we pray for strength, for certainty, for clarity, for expansion or to become the person we are meant to become. Then we will be given just that in order to know how to handle the adversity. As we navigate it from this form of prayer, we are given what we need to expand and move forward.
Our souls desire expansion, elevation, and growth. So, as we shift our prayers, we are elevating our souls and moving onto new levels of being. In order to receive the blessings we are meant to receive, we have to become the vessel who can hold those blessings. Every challenge is a new opportunity to become the vessel. So, instead of running from them or praying for them to vanish, welcome them and let your prayers be that of transformation!
